Weatherproof LED Drivers
MEAN WELL offers several series of weatherproof LED drivers, each designed for specific outdoor and lighting applications.
The HLG Series is a line of efficient, IP67 waterproof LED drivers suitable for outdoor use. These drivers provide constant current mode output, ranging from 12V to 54V and covering wattages from 40W to 600W. They feature 3-in-1 and DALI dimming functions, making them versatile for use with both constant voltage LED light strips and constant current luminaires.
The NPF Series is designed primarily for business lighting luminaires and features CC+CV output. These drivers are IP67 waterproof, suitable for humid environments, and have an input voltage range of 90-305V. They offer 3-in-1 dimming and some models include an auxiliary power output for cooling fans and IoT intelligent lighting control. The wattage options are 40W, 60W, 90W, and 120W, all backed by a 5-year warranty.
The ELG Series is a high cost-performance ratio outdoor waterproof LED driver series, also with an IP67 rating. It includes CC+CV shared low voltage designs (12V, 24V, 36V, 48V, 54V) and high voltage output options. These drivers feature 3-in-1, DALI, and D2 smart timer dimming functions, making them suitable for both constant voltage LED strips and constant current luminaires. The wattage ranges from 75W to 300W, with a 5-year warranty.
The PWM Series is primarily used with LED strip lights and offers PWM constant voltage output. These drivers have an input voltage range of 90-305V AC with a Class 2/II design and are available in wattages of 40W, 60W, 90W, and 120W. They feature 3-in-1 and DALI dimming functions and come with a 5-year warranty.
Indoor
The MEAN WELL PLP series is designed to be embedded inside the housing of a luminaire or LED sign. These drivers feature active power factor correction for energy efficiency and have an adjustable output current via a built-in potentiometer. They are available in wattages from 30W to 80W and support a universal AC input of 90~264VAC.
The HBG series is an open-frame, dimmable LED driver with a circular shape, ideal for LED high bay lights. It offers ingress protection ratings of IP65 or IP67, depending on the model, to prevent moisture and dust ingress. These drivers can operate in both constant voltage and constant current modes and include built-in power factor correction for efficiency. The dimmable models support 0-10V dimming, PWM dimming, and resistance-based dimming.
AC Dimmable LED Drivers
The Power Source PDV series LED drivers offer constant voltage with PWM output and support AC phase cut dimming. They are compatible with most dimmer switches commonly used in Australia and work with CBUS systems. These drivers are available in two versions: IP66 for outdoor use, providing protection against dust and water, and IP20 for indoor use, offering basic protection.
Linear LED Drivers
The MEAN WELL LDC series features a flicker-free design and is available in non-dimming, 3-in-1 dimming, and DALI dimming options. These drivers are perfect for LED panel lighting, indoor LED lighting, and linear LED lighting.
The SLD series offers 12V and 24V models that operate in both constant voltage and constant current modes. With a slim and linear design, they are suitable for decoration lighting, signage, and linear luminaire applications. The input and output connections use push pin terminal blocks, making the assembly process easier for installers and manufacturers.
Constant Current LED Drivers
The ELG series is a high-performance, outdoor waterproof LED driver with an IP67 rating. It features a shared low voltage design (12V/24V/36V/48V/54V) and high voltage output with constant current options (500/700/1000/1400/2100 mA). The series includes 3-in-1 dimming, DALI dimming, and D2 smart timer dimming functions, making it suitable for both constant voltage LED strips and constant current luminaires. The wattage range is from 75W to 300W, and the drivers come with a 5-year warranty.
The MEAN WELL LCM-25 is an advanced constant current LED driver with selectable output current settings via a DIP switch. It has built-in power factor correction and can be connected in a Master/Slave configuration for synchronous control of up to 10 units. This class II device does not require earthing of the casing. Dimming options include 0-10V, PWM, and resistance-based dimming.
The XLG series operates in constant power mode with a wide input voltage range of 100V to 305VAC and a wattage range of 20W to 315W. These drivers comply with the latest safety regulations and feature isolated output and dimming circuits for user safety. The XLG series offers 3-in-1 and DALI-2 dimming functions, along with complete international certification, making it convenient for global marketing and sales of luminaires.
DC to DC LED Drivers & Controller
The MEAN WELL LDB series are buck-boost converters, capable of both stepping up and stepping down DC voltage. This versatility makes them suitable for a wide range of LED applications.
The LDD series are step-down DC to DC LED drivers that come with a fully encapsulated IP67 enclosure, providing protection against moisture and dust. These drivers offer dimming via PWM duty cycle and remote on/off control. They are available in three convenient form factors: PCB mount through hole, PCB surface mount, or wire terminations. This versatility makes them suitable for a variety of LED applications.
The MEAN WELL NLDD series are fully encapsulated DC to DC LED drivers with PWM dimming and remote on/off control, available in PCB mountable or wire termination versions. They comply with EN61347 and EN55015 standards, making them suitable for various DC power sources like 12V and 24V solar panels and batteries. These drivers operate as step-down converters with constant current outputs from 350mA to 1400mA, a wide input voltage range of 10-56VDC, and high efficiency up to 96%, including protections against short circuits and over-temperature.
Lighting Control
The MEAN WELL DAP series converts a DALI input to a PWM output, enabling the dimming of MEAN WELL LED drivers with 3-in-1 dimming capabilities. It features 4 output channels, each capable of controlling up to 20 LED drivers, allowing a total control of up to 80 drivers. The DAP-04 also functions as a push dimming converter with a dimming range of 1~100% and includes a built-in on/off relay.
The DLP series are highly efficient and compact DALI BUS power supplies, providing a 240mA output for DALI control gear and devices without their own power supply circuitry. Available in two versions, they include a DIN rail mountable power version and a linear type with terminal block connections. Both versions offer a wide operating temperature range, excellent input surge resistance, and an LED status indicator.
The MEAN WELL DLC series, specifically the DLC-02, is a DALI-2 master controller with a Class II insulated plastic casing and DIN-Rail mounting design. It features two independent DALI channels, allowing connection to up to 2 x 64 DALI-controlled ECGs (luminaires) and 2 x 12 input devices. The DLC-02's software enables scanning, configuration, and setting of all devices on the DALI BUS, with the ability to set up to 16 scenes and group settings per channel. This design facilitates easy integration with other building automation products in the distribution box.
KNX & Building Automation
The MEAN WELL KAA-4R4V-S is a 4-channel dimming actuator featuring a high-quality independent latching relay. It is designed to switch and dim LED drivers and lighting ballasts. The device supports both linear and logic programming via ETS software and includes an LED status indicator for each channel. It also supports KNX Data Secure to protect the building automation system from hackers.
The MEAN WELL KSR series acts as a KNX line/area coupler, establishing a bidirectional data connection between the KNXnet/IP line and the KNX TP line with galvanic isolation. This device can connect multiple KNX TP lines or link various TP areas and different KNX TP installation systems via an IP backbone, Ethernet, or Internet.
The MEAN WELL KSC series functions as a KNX line/area coupler, providing a bidirectional data connection between two KNX TP lines or areas. It couples the KNX TP main line and subline with galvanic isolation, ensuring secure and reliable data transmission.
